    Q: What is the status of my return?

    A: After a return is received in our warehouse, it usually takes 4-7 business days to be processed in our system. If a refund was requested, your account will be refunded. Please note, it usually takes 2-3 days for the funds to appear back on your account after the refund is processed.

    If an exchange or replacement was requested, your new order will ship 4-7 days after the return is received in our warehouse. Tracking information will be provided to you when it becomes available.

    A: 365 Day No-Hassle Return Policy (for Watches, Sunglasses, Jewelry, Shoes and Handbags)

    Everything we do here at AreaTrend is centered around our customers. For this reason we are proud to offer our 365 day no hassle return policy!

    That's right! You have 365 days of your order date to return your item(s)**, and no restocking fee! Buy any gifts early and rest easy knowing that if the recipient is not 100% happy with it they are able to return it at their convenience.

    Returned items must meet three simple requirements:

    1. Products are not eligible for return if they have been worn, used, adjusted, or sized.
    2. Any defects need to be reported to us within 10 days of receipt of the item (prior to wearing) to avoid the warranty process.
    3. The original manufacturer packaging and materials must be returned in their original condition.

    If your product is eligible for return, please feel welcome to return the item for a refund, replacement or exchange.

    Return instructions are included in your package, along with a prepaid return label (on domestic orders). When your return is received, a refund, exchange, or store credit will be issued less original shipping charges. If your original shipping was free, a flat fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your refund. This fee is waived if the enclosed prepaid return label is used. If you choose to use the prepaid return label included in the box, a flat rate of $6.95 will be deducted from your refund, exchange or store credit.

    If you did not receive a return label (international orders), or chose not to use it, please follow the instructions listed below:

    At the bottom of the front of your packing slip, there is a small checklist for you to fill out that will provide our returns team with important information to ensure a fast and accurate check-in.

    All of our items are inspected upon receipt. In the rare instance that you have received a defective item, no fees will be deducted from your refund and, if you provide us with a receipt for the return shipping, we will reimburse return shipping back to us up to $10.00. Please note that you are responsible for return shipment and liability. Therefore, we suggest you use a shipping method that is able to be tracked and insure it as well. You can read our full return policy for more details.

    As soon as the product is received back and time is allowed for processing, a refund will be granted to your account. Returns will take 4-7 business days to process after receipt into our warehouse. Please note that in accordance with our return policy that shipping fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. You will receive emails telling you when your product has been checked in, and again when your refund or replacement has been processed.

    International customers: Please note that AreaTrend does not charge customs fees for international shipments; those fees are charged by your country's government and we have no control over them. As such, if you return an item, we are unable to refund your customs. You must submit your return receipt to your customs office in order to be refunded for these fees.

    Special policy regarding Fragrances:
    Please make your fragrance selections carefully. Due to health and safety reasons, fragrances are NON-RETURNABLE once they have been opened. We will allow returns of fragrances ONLY IF the seal is not broken (plastic wrap cannot be removed/opened). NO exceptions.

    AreaTrend Bundle Returns: Bundle deals may not be broken up and no substitutions are permitted. As such, bundles must be returned with all items included.
    For example: You cannot simply return one item from a 3-item bundle; all 3 items must be returned if you do not want one. Exception: if an item arrives defective, it can be returned by itself for a replacement.
